CloudSave Monetization Policy

Axsa Technologies (“we,” “us,” or “our”), an Indian company headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, operates CloudSave, a cloud storage and content-sharing platform. This Monetization Policy governs the monetization program for channels within CloudSave, enabling eligible users to earn revenue from their channels based on specific criteria and performance metrics. By participating in the monetization program, you agree to comply with this Monetization Policy, as well as our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Auto-Renewal Agreement, CloudSave Coins Terms, Refund Policy, Channel Policy, and DMCA Policy.
1. Overview of the Monetization Program
- Purpose: The monetization program allows channel creators to earn revenue by sharing premium content with subscribers, funded via CloudSave Coins or other mechanisms.
- Revenue Potential: Eligible channels can earn up to $50 USD per month, depending on factors outlined in Section 3.
- Payment: Earnings are paid out in accordance with Section 5, subject to applicable taxes and compliance with this policy.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the monetization program, your channel and account must meet the following requirements:
- Channel Age: Your channel must be at least 90 days old, calculated from the date of creation on CloudSave.
- No Copyright Claims: Your channel must have no active copyright infringement claims or violations, as per our DMCA Policy and applicable Indian laws.
- Subscriber Count: Your channel must have at least 1,000 active subscribers, defined as users who have engaged with your channel (e.g., viewed content or subscribed) within the last 30 days.
- Premium or Pro Account: Your CloudSave account must be subscribed to a premium or pro plan, actively paid via Google Play Store, Apple App Store as per our Auto-Renewal Agreement.
- Content Compliance: Your channel must comply with our Channel Policy, including no prohibited content (e.g., illegal, harmful, or misleading material).
- Consistent Activity: Your channel must demonstrate regular activity, such as posting new content at least once every 30 days.
- Accurate Information: You must provide accurate account and payment details, including a valid Permanent Account Number (PAN) for tax purposes, as required under Indian law.
3. Revenue Calculation Factors
Your channel’s earnings, up to a maximum of $50 USD per month, are determined based on the following factors:
- Device Location: The geographic location of your subscribers’ devices, with higher earnings potential for subscribers in regions with greater purchasing power (e.g., US, EU).
- Subscriber Country: The country of residence of your subscribers, influencing revenue due to regional economic differences and currency conversion rates.
- Engagement Metrics:
- Views: The number of times your channel’s content is viewed by subscribers.
- Interaction: Actions such as likes, comments, or shares on your content.
- Retention: The percentage of subscribers who remain active over time (e.g., renew their subscriptions).
- Subscription Revenue: The number of subscribers paying for premium content via CloudSave Coins, with a portion of the Coin value contributing to your earnings.
- Content Quality: The relevance, originality, and frequency of your content, as assessed by CloudSave’s proprietary algorithms.
- Ad Impressions (if applicable): If your channel includes ad-supported content, revenue may include a share of ad impressions viewed by subscribers.
- Other Factors: Additional metrics, such as seasonal trends, platform-wide engagement rates, or promotional campaigns, may influence earnings at our discretion.
Note: The exact weighting of these factors is determined by CloudSave and may be adjusted periodically to ensure fairness and platform sustainability. We do not disclose specific formulas to prevent manipulation.
4. Monetization Process
- Application: Eligible users can apply for monetization through the CloudSave app or website or by contacting [email protected]. We will review your channel within 14 business days and notify you of approval or rejection via email or in-app notification.
- Approval: Approved channels can enable premium subscriptions (via CloudSave Coins) or other monetization features, such as ad integration (if available).
- Content Requirements: Monetized channels must maintain high-quality, lawful content and adhere to our Channel Policy. Failure to comply may result in suspension from the program.
- Monitoring: We continuously monitor monetized channels for compliance with this policy, our Terms of Service, and applicable laws.
5. Payment of Earnings
- Payout Schedule: Earnings are calculated monthly and paid out within 30 days of the end of each month, provided your earnings meet the minimum payout threshold of $10 USD.
- Payment Methods: Payouts are made via bank transfer, Unified Payments Interface (UPI), or other methods available in India, as selected by you. International payouts may incur currency conversion fees, which will be disclosed at the time of payment.
- Taxes: Earnings are subject to applicable taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) and income tax, as per Indian law. You must provide a valid PAN, and we may withhold taxes (e.g., Tax Deducted at Source, TDS) as required. You are responsible for reporting earnings to tax authorities.
- Fees: Payouts may be subject to processing fees, which will be deducted from your earnings and disclosed at the time of payment.
- Forfeiture: Earnings may be withheld or forfeited if your channel or account is suspended, terminated, or found to violate this policy, our Terms of Service, or applicable laws.
6. Prohibited Practices
To maintain the integrity of the monetization program, you may not:
- Manipulate Metrics: Artificially inflate subscriber counts, views, or engagement (e.g., using bots, fake accounts, or paid services).
- Post Prohibited Content: Share content that violates our Channel Policy, such as illegal, harmful, or copyrighted material without authorization.
- Engage in Fraud: Use fraudulent methods to earn revenue, such as misleading subscribers or exploiting platform features.
- Evade Restrictions: Create new channels or accounts to bypass monetization suspensions or bans.
- Misrepresent Content: Promote premium content that does not match the advertised quality or availability.
Violations may result in immediate suspension from the monetization program, forfeiture of earnings, channel suspension, or account termination, as per our Terms of Service.
7. Suspension and Termination
- Suspension: We may suspend your participation in the monetization program for suspected violations, pending investigation. You will be notified via email or in-app notification and given 7 days to respond.
- Termination: We may terminate your participation for confirmed violations, repeated non-compliance, or at our discretion with notice where feasible.
- Effect: Upon suspension or termination, your channel will lose monetization privileges, and unpaid earnings may be forfeited. You may reapply after 90 days if the issue is resolved, subject to our approval.
- Appeals: If your monetization application is rejected or your channel is suspended/terminated, you may appeal within 7 days by emailing [email protected] with details of your case. We will review appeals and respond within 14 business days. Our decision is final, subject to your rights under applicable law.
8. Disclaimers and Liability
- As-Is Basis: The monetization program is provided “as is” without warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Liability Cap: As per our Terms of Service, our liability is limited to the greater of $20 USD or 100% of any amount you have paid under your current service plan (e.g., premium/pro subscription or Coin purchases) in the 12 months preceding a claim.
- Revenue Not Guaranteed: We do not guarantee specific earnings, as revenue depends on variable factors and platform policies.
9. Privacy and Data Handling
- Data Collection: We collect data related to monetization, such as subscriber counts, engagement metrics, and payment details, to administer the program, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
- Data Sharing: Limited data may be shared with payment processors or analytics providers to facilitate payouts or improve the Services, in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
- Retention: Monetization-related data is retained for 7 years to comply with Indian tax laws, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: This Monetization Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Maharashtra, India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- Dispute Resolution: Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Mumbai, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, conducted by a single arbitrator in English, except for matters eligible for consumer courts under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
11. Changes to This Policy
- We may update this Monetization Policy to reflect changes in our practices, platform requirements, or legal obligations.
- It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically for updates by visiting the CloudSave website or app. Continued participation in the monetization program after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
12. Consumer Protection
- Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, you have rights to fair treatment, accurate information, and redressal for unfair practices.
